Independent Great Glen Way Grade 2

The Great Glen Way is links Fort William, on Loch Linnhe, via Loch Ness to Inverness, on the Beauly Firth. Covering a distance of 77 miles (118 Km) or so the Great Glen Way follows along one of the great geological faults of Scotland. Discover the workings of Neptune's Staircase, the wonderful construction of Telford's Caledonian Canal as it travels through the Great Glen.

Have it your way!

If you would like to change or add to any of our range of Independent Walking holidays detailed in this section, don't keep it a secret.

Tell us what you have in mind and we'll put somehting together for you.

Do some Nessie spotting along Loch Ness, and explore the ruinous ramparts of Urquhart Castle, as you enjoy an enchanting wee walk to remember.Much less hilly than the West Highland Way, walking the Great Glen Way over 5 days allows for an easy pace, achievable by just about anybody.

We are offering a choice of three options for our independent Great Glen Way: Standard, Superior and Premier.

On the Superior and Premier options evening meals are available locally either at your accommodation or nearby. The Value option allows for either self-catering or eating out, though on one night on the Value option you will not be able to eat out. Packed lunches are obtainable either from accommodation providers or local shops. Details will be provided in your holiday dossier.

Baggage transfers for 1 bag per person are included on all options so you only need to carry a day pack.
