2008 Holidays
What a great response from you about our 2008 walks. A number of our holidays are already down to their last spaces so best not to leave it much longer if there is something you are particularly keen to do. Don't forget our early booking discount for holidays over £250 booked more than 12 weeks in advance. Please do remember that you must quote promotion code Early Bird 08 on your booking form otherwise the discount will not be applied.
Putting Something Back
The NTS / C-N-Do Arran Peat Project, a carbon conservation scheme, now up and running for more than a year, has raised an amazing £470 so far. C-N-Do has been putting in a contribution equivalent to the carbon production of our energy use (office, holiday transport and leader transport), in order to counter balance this to zero. In addition walkers, supporters and other travellers have contributed considerably. Work commenced in Arran in August 2007 and will continue over the years. C-N-Do will keep supporting the project and walkers joining our holidays are encouraged to consider doing so as well through www.cndoscotland.com/carbon-conservation.
Winter Skills
Now that the snow is here, are you confident of your abilities to deal with it? If not, then consider attending one of our winter skills courses. We run these courses both as individual days covering the basic essentials for all winter hill walkers, and as more in depth weekend courses ideal for those of you who want to be a bit more independent.
PÁramo News
The spring / summer range of Páramo outdoor clothing should be available in our shop in early April. Páramo is the clothing of choice for C-N-Do leaders and an increasing number of outdoor folk. Wearing Páramo gear has almost become a cult thing, with many complete strangers stopping to compare and contrast garments on the hill. To tempt you even more we are having a Sale Week from the 3rd to 8th March. If you are unable to visit us in person, don't worry because we also have an online store at www.cndoscotland.com/paramo.
