About the Highland New Year
Highland New Year - repeating the very successful House Party ambience of last New Year, we are based again in the luxury private hostel near Callander (otherwise know as the Poshtel). Varying sized bunkrooms are comfortable, spacious, warm and ensuite. With all the catering taken care of to C~N~Do's renowned standard.
"A very friendly and relaxed atmosphere due to the caring attitude of the team - an absolutely fantastic experience!"

Our location within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park area, a fantastically varied landscape full of interest and challenge, is near perfect for a wide range of winter walking from easy loch sides, forests and glens, to rolling hills and high mountain tops. There are choices of walks each day with a hill walk for the adventurous, a more leisurely stravaig for those who have had a bit too much plum duff, and perhaps a couple of other choices as well. What a better way to spend a Highland Hogmonay, good food, magical walks, great laughs and a grand wee ceilidh!
"A well organised holiday emphasised by some superb company."
C. Wegg a walker on a recent Highland New Year
A festive Hogmonay ceilidh to see in the New Year complements the walking for those still awake! There is no reason why you shouldn’t come along, relax and thoroughly enjoy yourself! Don't miss it!
The leisurely walks will mostly be on good tracks and paths and not much up and down. The harder ones are on mountain paths or rough unpathed terrain with the requisite up and down involved. A bit of snow will hopefully add to the fun. Essential winter skills will be taught to those on the harder walks as required.
"Well organised, catering for all levels of walkers. The attention to detail was excellent!"
