Skills for the Hills - Important Information
PLEASE NOTE
While C~N~Do endeavours to deliver the course as advertised, we are all at the mercy of the weather, particularly on the mountains. C~N~Do reserves the right for staff to modify activities if at any point they feel that customers would be at risk in continuing the activity as advertised. In such cases, whenever possible, relevant related activities will be undertaken in order to continue.
Customers are urged to recognise their own abilities when booking courses, as many require a minimum level of competence and / or fitness to undertake. This level should be clearly indicated in the course description, but customers are invited to contact the office should they require clarification of any points. C~N~Do's activities are graded, and allow customers to "build up" their confidence or ability without over-stretching, leading to enjoyable experiences in the mountains.
Participation Statement
Outdoor activities are potentially hazardous, and although C~N~Do Scotland takes due care to minimise risk to client, a certain level of responsibility must fall on each participant for his/her own personal safety in the outdoors. In addition, it is your duty to dress appropriately, to inform the leader if concerned about any situation during the activity, or of any personal medical or health condition, which may be affected by being active, and to abide by the instructions of the leader during the course of the activity.
We reserve the right to alter activities and locations for reasons of weather, safety or local access situations.
